What Is the Most Mentioned Tickers Tool?

The Most Mentioned Tickers tool helps you identify which stocks other Tandem Trader users are discussing most. It can be used to generate trading ideas or spot potential opportunities.

Mentions are measured according to the number of pieces of content on Tandem Trader in which a ticker is tagged. Content that counts towards mentions include Trade Plans, social posts, comments, articles, livestreams, and chat room messages.

How to Access the Most Mentioned Tickers Tool

The Most Mentioned Tickers tool is available in Grid and Floating Layouts and as a standalone tool.

• To add the Most Mentioned Tickers tool to a Grid Layout: Navigate to the Grid Layouts dashboard and create a new layout. Click Add Grid Item, select the Most Mentioned Tickers tool as a module to add, and click Update.

• To add the Most Mentioned Tickers tool to a Floating Layout: Navigate to the Floating Layouts dashboard and click Create New Layout. Give your layout a name, select the Most Mentioned Tickers tool as a module to add, and click Create Layout.
• To open the Most Mentioned Tickers tool as a standalone window: Navigate to the Tools dashboard (Tools > All Tools in the sidebar navigation), then select the Most Mentioned Tickers tool.

How to Use the Most Mentioned Tickers Tool

The Most Mentioned Tickers tool displays the 10 most frequently mentioned tickers for a chosen market cap range and timeframe. Tickers are displayed on the Y-axis, while the number of mentions during the selected timeframe is displayed on the X-axis. 

Timeframe filters include:

• 15 seconds
• 1 minute
• 5 minutes
• Pre-market
• Day (including pre-market and after-hours)

Audio Alerts

You can enable audio alerts for the Most Mentioned Tickers tool by clicking the speaker icon in the upper right-hand corner of the tool and dragging the volume slider to the desired level. Drag it all the way to the left to disable audio alerts.

When audio alerts are on, you will receive a voice notification whenever there are changes to the top 10 most active tickers for your selected filters. If you’d like to turn the audio alerts off, simply set the volume level to 0.

Most Mentioned Tickers Settings

You can change the default timeframe filter applied whenever you open the Most Mentioned Tickers tool. Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the tool, then choose the default settings you prefer.

Click Apply to save your settings.
